A new Denver-based DUI court that will focus on reducing repeat DUI offenders is now open for business. Taking key features from other DUI courts across the U.S., the new Denver DUI court will allow some repeat drunk drivers to opt into an 18- to 24-month court program that focuses on addiction treatment, frequent interactions with a judge, and regular blood-alcohol monitoring instead of a six month jail sentence.
